Avery Moving And Storage

Overall I was happy with Avery Moving and Storage. The owner, Steve, works hard and is obviously experienced. It cost a little more than I expected but it is very hard to predict in advance exactly how much a move will cost. I was moving from the third and second floors of a house and some of the furniture had to be taken out through french doors on the second floor.
Also I hadn't used movers for over 20 years so didn't have much idea of the cost.
The reason I didn't give a 10 was that a 3 piece glass desk wasn't fully reassembled. When I contacted Avery regarding this, he reminded me that he had asked me if everything was alright. The desk had looked as if it been reassembled but on closer inspection some of the components had been placed together but not screwed together.
Avery did send someone to complete the job but it took a while. Meanwhile my cat jumped on the table not realizing that a piece of glass was missing. I can't, after witnessing a shocked Nanook go right through the table and land on the floor give Avery a 10 :)
