Artisan Bathrooms and Kitchens - No Longer in Business

This is the second bathroom Bob did for us, and we were thrilled with the results. It looks great and is very functional. Bob is a delight to have in the house, and the work was done on budget and in the estimated time. What I appreciate most is that Bob will happily come back after the job is done to make any required adjustments. He treats the project as being under warranty, and will be back within 24 hours (probably much sooner if it was an emergency) to update it. He is also scrupulously honest and will tell you if there's something you don't need to spend the money on. I wouldn't hesitate to go with Bob on a future project or to recommend him to friends.

Bob & his team did a fine clean job. They were very easy to get along with, made good suggestions and went the extra mile. I would certainly use them again.

Our master ensuite was painfully small and our upstairs main bathroom needed updating so we called on Artisan Bathrooms to do the job. Our ensuite was fully gutted and enlarged by taking over space from our closets (which we moved elsewhere). The additional space allowed us to have the ensuite we had always hoped for. The finished product gave us underfloor heating; a lengthy vanity with 2 sinks; an air jet tub; and a large glass shower enclosure with requisite rain head unit. The tile we chose finished everything off nicely. Our other bathroom needed a new tub with enclosure; tile surround; upgraded vanity/mirror/lighting. Having gone through a nightmare of bathroom reno a few years ago, I was impressed with Bob and his team. I had told Bob at the outset that I valued "communication" (almost) above all else. Keep me in the loop! I am happy to say that that was never an issue. If, for whatever reason, they couldn't come one day (and that was almost never), I was called and told. All the fellows involved with the project were punctual and very pleasant to deal with. Bob was very helpful when it came time to select tiles/faucets etc. and took the time necessary to guide us through whatever we needed, when we needed it. Since completion, I have had two small issues that Bob promptly came out and remedied. That is customer service! I have absolutely no problem recommending Artisan Bathrooms.

I contacted Artisan Bathrooms and Kitchens after reading the many good reviews on Homestars. I was not disappointed. Bob was professional, extremely helpful with design ideas and took the time to meet with me to pick out tiles, fixtures and counter top selections. Bob was never more than a phone call away when I needed advice on design questions. I would highly recommend Artisan for any renovation and I will not hesitate to use them again for a renovation of my kitchen in the future. The work was completed with precision and professionalism. Bob was knowledgeable and able to fix our water issue. Each day the work area was left is a clean state and the tiling work was meticulously completed. Love my new shower!

We recently had the bathroom of our 80 year old house renovated by Artisian bathrooms. We were extremely happy with the outcome which looks terrific and is highly functional.

Bob (owner of Artisan) worked with us to draw up a timetable and budget. I am happy to say that the job was completed on schedule. Bob's budget was accurate, but we went a little wild with extras so the job costed a little more than originally planned.

We very much appreciated Bob’s breadth of experience in the design and in the material selection stage. He accompanied us to the various suppliers to answer our questions and direct us to the most durable choices. He can usually save you some money using his contractors discount and by knowing the suppliers.

Demolition and construction were completed by Blake. If you are lucky, you will get Blake working on your project. Blake is a very hard worker. He is a perfectionist with the details and prides himself on doing good work.

Last thing, we used a different contractor for our kitchen last year. There was a significant difference between them and Artisan. On numerous occasions, we had trouble contacting our kitchen contractors. Not so with Bob and company. He will always call you back right away. The kitchen contractors surprised us with a bunch of extra costs as the job progressed. No unforeseen costs from Artisan. The kitchen contractors “cheaped out” on some materials to save cost. Artisian uses only premium quality materials.

Thank you Bathroom Bob for all your work on our main bathroom. We are so pleased with your attention to detail. You and Blake were efficient and very helpful with all your suggestions. You always kept the upstairs area clean and tidy. I am especially enjoying the new shower and the heated floor. Thanks again for completing the renovation on time and we will call you for our next project.

The custom tile ensuite shower in our house started to leak after 5 years. We hired Artisan to gut the shower and do it right this time.

We contacted Bob at Artisan with our problem and he gave a very detailed description of possible problems and his proposed solution.

Throughout the process, both Bob and Valdy were very helpful and gave tips on a few of the other maintenance issues around the house.

Valdy built a rock-solid shower. He tore out the old rotted wood curb and put in a new concrete curb. They used proper concrete board for the walls instead of the mushy garbage the previous contractor had used. They also cleaned up some of the messy plumbing and fixtures. Valdy even helped me carry the furniture up the stairs to our new nursery.

Loved working with Artisan. Bob involved me every step of the way as he built my "needs and would like" list into a beautiful, high quality bathroom that is a joy to view and to use. He and Blake are both perfectionists which showed not only in their work but in their surroundings (always left neat which is important in a small space). This is my third major renovation - the first with Bob - and this was definately the best. I highly recommend Artisan and will use them again for other projects.
