Pat and the boys came by after a couple of calls..heard these guys are good and worth the wait.. absolutely true.. 3 guys started before 8 were done by none. we have a huge property..\I counted 21 bags of waste and they took it with them. Patrick pruned my fruit trees, great job, used Japanese training ropes..looks odd but works..They have a listed of 32 steady clients and have waiting list for regular weekly service..we are on it.. They are coming back for maple removal in fall..great price and great work Applewood..Keep it up !

Applewood Acres Gardening & Landscaping came in gave a great quote, worked from early morning to early evening, got the job done, took away all dead oak, cleaned up amazing, like nothing was there !! My hubby could not believe a crew had been in there at all !
Our neighbour recommended a company that he hired a month ago..but the price was high, we called Applewood, they were more reasonable..and our neighbour couldnt believe how professional and how they cleaned up. We are calling them back in another month to do our appricot tree pruning !! Good job Ted and Chris Kasprow great crew !

We hired Applewood based on recommendation from Organic Landscape Alliance. Rick showed up with crew after submitting successful bid ( they came in middle)..Fully Insured, reputable workers with criminal background checks ( NO ONE ELSE HAS EVER SHOWN US THAT...WOW!)Three guys worked their butts off on our 120 yr old property..then completed a beautiful trimming of a neglected apple and cherry tree.. WOW what an amazaing job by Applewood. These guys are the best rated on Homestars.. Their website has tonns of organic stuff and we want them for weekly service.. Excellent mazaing work Applewood. definately have us as your # 1 champions !!.
P.S. My wife is not the easiest to please and Applewood pleases her. recommended them to our daughter Tanya in Streetsville.

Met with owner Rick.Great guy..great quote. Had the Applewood crew over this Saturday ( worked through the stormy weather, but got it done)and cleaned up the mess we did not get to last fall. Applewood Acres Gardening & Landscaping came in with the second lowest bid on a tough oak tree removal. We did not go with them because of the price, but because they were professional, easy to talk to, came back twice to reassess when my wife and I had more questions..These guys gave us options and made suggestions NO ONE ELSE DID..they belong to the Organic Landscape Alliance and come very highly recommended. We learned of them from some nighbours who used them last summer on a landscaping project..Rick the owner is great to deal with..he listens and understands to what the client is asking for..Once the tree was cut, they even came back and chopped up the wood for a small add charge and quartered the pieces,stacked them and left us a nice tidy some of firewood for burning next winter. I had lived in my house for 5 years and decided it needed a little sprucing up. The workers from Applewood were wondeful! They did a great job with the lanscaping, planting flowers and trees and stone borders around the flowers.

Our backyard was a mess - we had 3 trees crowding the space and unkept beds etc. and needed to do some major work. We liked the contents of their site and called for information. Rick came out after the second call and gave us some ideas and seemed very knowledgeable but easy to talk to, and most importantly, he seemed to really enjoy his work and to want to make our back yard something that we would enjoy.

Rick and his team worked really hard to get most of the work done in time so that the back yard would look great for a big BBQ we were having and we really appreciated that. Then came the deck which turned out to be more work than expected because of some unexpected raccoon intrusion..good looking deck and to finish it all up, then came the new lawn with complimentary first mow.

All in all a great experience - we were always kept informed with updates from Rick or responses to our questions or suggestions. We would highly reccomend them.

William and I just wanted to write and let everyone know what a great job Rick and Pat and their team did over the week they took to re-do our entire backyard.We had a bridal shower for our daughter, and everyone loved what Applewood Acres did, including the cedar deck..absolutely stunning choice of flowers and moss rocks..reminds me of back home in Scotland. Love the work, and tight timeline commitment these guys held too, despite the poor weather. Great work guys.Recommended them to 6 other families who have them booked for next Spring.!
