Roof

Alpine replaced the asphalt shingles but left wavy wood at the top so the roof was still uneven after they finished. We called them and they said they would fix it but in the end they said they'd have to redo it all which never happened. They did knock money off but wish had been done right.

Roof Repair and Eaves Trough

I had a flat roof section that needed replacing due to pooling and the development of a leak. I figured I would have the eavestroughs done at the same time. Sadly, they insisted on removing my old roof and laying down my new one in the rain. This caused extra damage to the ceilings inside my home. During the worst of the downpours, they took refuge on my front and back porches. I have renters living downstairs and they made my female tenant very uncomfortable with comments, stares and overall rude, unprofessional behavior. Not to mention the fact that they ended up smearing my porches with tar and grime. I had to clean and re-paint both of them, which I made them pay for. After the job was completed, I noticed that they did not do the job properly. They were supposed to re-grade my roof to prevent future pooling problems. Instead, they just quickly re- covered it. Complete with wrinkles, air bubbles and rips. After it rained, I noticed that the eaves were angled in the wrong direction. The water drains away from the down spout. I now get pools on my roof and gutters full of water. I have been trying for three years to have them fix their mistakes. They have been nice on the phone, promise the world and then never show up or call back. They obviously have no intention of fixing anything. I would never have this company come any where near one of my homes again.

New Roof

I had a new roof put on my 100+ old house. The crew was done in two days and another stayed behind to do the flashing work. They were very nice, fast and did a great job. The flashing fellow was super detailed and did some nice extras for me. Great clean-up job and the roof has been great.

complete roof rebuild and chimney rebuild

We were dreading the inevitable task of redoing the roof on our old house, there were 3 layers of shingles and it was in pretty bad shape. With the winter season aproaching we decided not to wait until next spring to do the job, and started getting quotes.

Alpine was by far the most competitive quote, with the most all around service(they had a house mason worker to do the chimney so no need to deal with more than one contracter). The job they did was tremendous, on time, excellent clean up and superb customer service.

Do yourself a favor and skip the rest, just hire the best. Ask for Mimi, he was exceptional!

Many thanks for a job well done!

Roofing project

They're not bad, but don't take their price offer. They seem to like to play the "bargain" game. Also, they didn't do everything by the book (not the whole roof had roofing paper laid down). So if u pick them, make sure they do the job RIGHT.

eavestrough repair

Alpine roofing installed our new roof, copper eavestroughs, etc. last year. Over the winter, ice damaged one of the eavestroughs. Within 24 hours of contacting Alpine, the problem was assessed. The next day the eavestrough was repaired at no charge.

Replacement of flat roof

We had several quotes to replace our flat roof and Alpine came in the cheapest (half the price of Avenue Road Roofing).
Robert the salesman was helpful and punctual for any appointments. They could not give us a fixed date, but the work was completed during the week he told us it would be. The actual roofers were efficient and friendly. They cleared up all the mess in our garden after the work was completed (although they also replaced our neighbours roof and left mess in our front garden, which we had to call and ask them to remove, which they did the next day).
The work could not be fully completed and sealed as we also needed to replace a small section of tiles on the side of the house. We were given the option of Alpine doing this (for a small reasonable extra price) or find our own contracters then Alpine would come and finish the job. We let Alpine complete this work and were very happy with the finished result.
Overall, good work for a reasonable price

flat roof

Quick and Professional. Got the job done on time and on budget and was able to negotiate with them. The driveway was unusable for less then 8 hours and they cleaned up well with just a few hiccups.

Total roof removal and replacement, soffits and facias

After getting 3 quotes, we chose Alpine based on price and meeting our specifications (including my insistence to see paper work on insurance, WSIB, and ratings for open flame). I wanted an architectural shingle and attention to detail on the aluminum work in order to preserve the house's 100 year old charm (or at least not cover it up). And we got it. The end product was superb and has given the house a whole new look. The assigned foreman was communicative and relayed my requests (small and large) to the crews as the work proceeded, even if pushing back on me once in a while. Nevertheless, I warn anyone hiring this company to do their own quality control. On several occasions i had to ask for work to be fixed because it was just plain messy or poor quality. Final note, I've had two warranty calls to the company on this roof...both were met promptly.

Reshingle roof

Our house was 15 years old and needed new shingles. From the 3 quotes we got, Alpine was in the middle. They carefully installed the flashing and paid attention to details. Clean up was good too.
