Stone Install

Alpine worked their magic on our home. We used a rubbled Owen Sound stone and integrated smooth limestone banding.

Mike and the rest of the team helped us source, draw up and install everything in a timely and super professional manner.

My wife and I are thrilled that we chose Alpine Masonry and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Beam install and additional masonry work

We came across Mike while we were doing our basement underpinning and needed to remove walls and install a massive beam while beefing up the structure in our ‘forever’ home. Within minutes of our first meeting with Mike, we realized why he came so highly recommended. From this point, we wouldn’t have trusted this job to anyone else. Mike is extremely knowledgeable and executed a complicated job with such ease. He has hand selected a fantastic crew who were very courteous with all of our neighbors and Mike just happens to be one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. We highly recommend Mike and his crew.

Work on a 120+ year brick home

Absolutely recommend this company. I have a home with original bricks from Toronto Brick Works. We renovated the basement having 3 windows and a door created, where bricks were removed, moved and steel beams had to be added to support a brick wall that was removed. Alpine Masonry handled it all! Staff very experienced, nice and work done quickly. Clean up done each night, you can't even tell where the new/old bricks were worked on. Price was reasonable for the type and amount of work that was done. Thank YOU Mike and staff.

Masonry Load Bearing Wall Removal

As the Owner of The Underpinners Inc. we have used Mike owner of Alpine Masonry Inc. for the past 2 years for all our large masonry openings, lintel work as well as block work. We had tried out other masonry companies before but could not find anyone knowledgeable enough to handle our high liability masonry projects . We found Mike from Alpine Masonry and have been so impressed! Mike has a very creative mind and the ability to visualize how to safely temporarily support heavy masonry loads in order to create new openings. He not only is a mason but a structural genius. Besides of being excellent at what they do they are dependable and easy to communicate with. We have been very impressed with Alpine and will continue to use them for ALL our masonry projects!

As a senior project manager with SCE Construction Management Inc., I have had the pleasure to work closely with Mike Donelle owner of Alpine Masonry Inc. for approximately 7 years.
In particular two existing high end custom homes which required extensive alterations including detailed restoration work. These projects had a combined total construction cost of over 20 million dollars.
Mike and his team have proven to be both highly skilled and professional. These types of projects bring numerous site condition challenges and Alpine has met all of my expectations. As a result I have seen up close the highly skilled work that Mike and his team bring to these job sites and the quality of the finished product that these types of client demand.
Mike and his team work well with other trades and conduct themselves in a professional manner.
Based on Alpine's work completed for SCE, I will continue to use this company for all future projects.

I am a project manager for SCE Construction, working on high end custom homes. I have been working with Alpine Masonry Inc. on and off for the last 4 years, and cannot say enough about their quality and professionalism. Their ability to trouble shoot challenging site conditions while maintaining the highest level of quality is admirable. All of Alpine's employees that I have worked with are very hard working, respectful and neat. They work very well with all other trades, and have been a huge asset to my projects.
I look forward to working with them on future projects.

Having been active in the high end custom home building market in around the Toronto region for over 30 years, engaging with superior trades is critical to what we do. Custom builders are only as good as the trades people they hire and our very reputation depends on these trades. Having had the opportunity to work with Alpine Masonry Inc. for over 15 years, it became apparent very quickly that this is a masonry firm, headed by Mike Donelle, that truly understands their trade. Always very professional in terms of their workmanship and their approach to customer satisfaction has always been paramount with Mike. Every one of our clients has not only raved about his work, but about the man himself. If you want to find a person with integrity and honesty, make a point of meeting Mike Donelle from Alpine.

Mike and his crew at Alpine Masonry have been our preferred masonry contractor for over 12 years. On site, Alpine is clean and safe and capable of both repairs and large scale stone and brick installations. As a high end custom home builder, we rely heavily on our trades to provide clients with top quality and professional service. Mike and his men are professional, polite, skilled and refuse to cut corners. They have consistently delivered excellent service and exceptional quality . Alpine Masonry Inc. is a top notch provider of masonry trade work, from block foundations to historical and everything in between.
When it comes to masonry, I only suggest Mike and his guys at Alpine.

Front entrance stone work

Mike rebuilt our interlock landing and stairway and replaced peeling slate tiled stairs and landing with flagstone. He and his crew are top notch and great to deal with. They worked within our challenging budget and produced a product which appears to be 3 or 4 times the value. They were on site constantly until the job was completed and were on time and tidy. The quality of the work is outstanding and we would recommend Alpine to anyone, particularly for a larger scale project in Central or West Toronto, but call now and be nice - time is precious and chemistry is important.
