Mancuso Paving

Mancuso paving did a fantastic job of our driveway. The weather delayed them a few times but when that cooperated they were in, working hard and done in no time and the result is fantastic. Everything was done just the way promised - and clean up was also great. Highly recommended.

Once I decided to have our driveway re-paved this year I contacted several paving contractors for estimates. Mancuso, and in particular Veli, was the most prompt and professional and provided a competitive quote. Veli took the time to discuss options, and in particular help in our decision to trim the driveway with a cobblestone curb. Since we only decided to get the job done in the Fall, Veli was quite open about the fact this Fall's weather was wreaking havoc on their schedules and we might be in for a bit of a wait. Well, luckily, there was a enough of a break in the weather that Mancuso was able to get the job done, and what a job! We couldn't be happier with the work done, and the professionalism of the Mancuso team. Besides the quality job on the driveway, they, to my surprise, didn't leave a mess behind, like other contractors I've had experience with.

Hired Mancuso earlier in the summer to pave wide and pave our driveway. It was just gravel before and Veli from Mancuso was able to quickly determine the amount of work required and a estimate in about 15 minutes. Communication afterwards was good and he was easy to reach. Weather caused quite a few delays however, but that would have probably been the case with any paving job this summer. Overall we would recommend them and we're happy with the job that was done.

I have nothing but great things to say about the quality of work and the level of service I received from Mancuso. They are true professionals and I highly recommend them.

My Driveway was 10 years old and starting to crack and weather.
I looked first on Google maps and then the Yellow pages. I called 10 companies leaving detailed messages that I need the job and had the money to pay right away. Not one company called me back.
I went to HOMESTARS and found Morris he came gave me a fair price and started the job right when he said he would. About 10 guys arrived with heavy equipment, like a pack of wolves they attacked the driveway ripping up the old ashpalt laying down new gravel. A few weeks later these guys came back and paved the driveway like it was the 401. They performed some great custom work with the walkway and front step.

We wanted a new front walkway, side walkway and a retaining wall around the flower bed at the front of the house. Mancuso was great! They showed up when they said they would show up and were friendly and professional. They offered great design ideas and colour schemes. The demolition and installation teams were very friendly and they were VERY tidy. I have already recommended them to my friends and family!

I wanted to write a note about the excellent work Mancuso Paving has done for us the past 2 years. Last year, Frank Bongiovanni came out to our house, after we contacted him to have the driveway replaced and some large patio slabs leading up to the front door levelled, and have it replaced at a later date. Frank was willing to do that, but he suggested that it may not create smooth transition later on between the driveway and walkway. After some more discussions with Frank (and he did not push us like some other sales folks), we decided to have the walkway replaced with interlocking stone earler, as well as to have a front porch created from the same stone. Frank and his team of Leo, Enzo and Luis came in and did all the work in 3 days. His team did an awesome job and they were polite and cleaned up every night before they left...! The porch itself is rock solid, built on a thick limestone screenings bed. It has not moved/shifted/separated at all during this last winter. The driveway as well, seems to be a much thicker tar level than any driveway I have seen and still looks like new.

We were so pleased with the work done by Frank, that we decided to go ahead and have a multi-level stone porch built in the back of the house as well. This was a bigger patio (approx. 600 Sqft), made from the same stone as the front, and we requested the same team of Leo, Enzo and Luis came to do the work...and Frank made that happen..! It looks FANTASTIC. They even fixed all the grass that got a bit chewed by the heavy equipment.

If you want solid garden hard-scaping done, I would recommend you call Frank Bongiovanni at Mancuso. It is work done with quality and precision and only needs to be done once.

Unfortunately MANCUSO has not honoured their warranty. We had the driveway paved and curbs installed in May 2007. After one winter, the driveway was heaving and we have called many, many times to get this repaired under their warranty program. Our calls have yet to get any results. I strongly recommend that anyone considering using this company hold back full payment until warranty is expired as clearly they do not respect their clients enough to fulfill repair work needed due to their own sub standard installation. Too bad, I thought after reviewing HomeStars that Mancuso would deliver. THEY DID NOT!!!!

Veli and his crew provided outstanding customer service and workmanship. All employees were hard working, couteous and committed to the task undertaken. Veli made several helpful suggestions which greatly enhanced the appearance of the patio, walkway and flower bed, created. The staff were very helpful and patient when answering my questions and explaining what they were doing. The crew also ensured that they cleaned up carefully each day.

I highly recommend Veli and his staff for the excellent job they did. I have spoken to several of my friends and relatives about the professional and excellent service provided by the staff of Mancuso Paving Limited.
