I am very happy and satisfied with both jobs that Tom and Tommy completed for me last month and would not hesitate to use them again (if I decide to replace my backyard fence next year...hopefully!). They were very helpful/informative, and their years of experience certainly made me feel very confident.
I had what we thought was a "flagstone" front walkway that was cracked/heaving and had become a hazard. We initially thought the stones could be re-used / re-laid, but that turned out not to be possible. There was no way to know this until they actually got into taking apart the concrete/stones. Tom contacted me right away with a solution and verrry reasonable quote to switch and now go with inter-locking stones. This would now also have to include hauling away the old concrete/stones. He and Tommy had already researched possible colour choices & availability. I met them first thing the next morning to make the decision - then was on my way to work! Painless! I wasn't stuck looking at hundreds of different colours and styles. It turned out beautifully! and I'm very happy with the choice we all made. It's certainly a great improvement to the house's overall curb-appeal! They will also be back to check on the walkway and re-sand between the stones where needed.
The other job was to replace the treads on my deck steps. This was a "last minute add on" to the original job but Tom was very accommodating and had no problem including this request. The stairs look amazing! Soooo happy to have straight cuts, square corners, and solid steps!! (Those steps had bothered me for years.) Their attention to detail is excellent!
Tom's years of experience/skill in both jobs were certainly demonstrated! He was very easy to work with and took time to answer and explain any questions/concerns I had. The jobs were done quickly and the clean-up was excellent, which is much appreciated!
