We recently purchased a resale house, and just wanted to have all locks to exterior doors rekeyed. Jorge came the day of our appointment, and determined that rekeying might not work as the locks to our doors were from the '70s, and suggested that we should replace all the locks (he did leave the rekeying option open for us to consider, but the rekeying process could destroy the existing locks). He was very knowledgeable regarding locks, and was making good recommendations. The quote to replace all locks was a lot more than we expected to pay for just rekeying. We were not pressured into making the decision right away. In the end, we did decide to go with the package that Jorge recommended, and Jorge performed the tasks within the time frame that he had said it would take. We are satisfied with the work that he did for us, and he had promised that he will come back to reinstall the expansive lock that we used for our front door, as we told him that we plan to re-finish the solid wood door later on, and will have to take the lock out. In the hindsight, the only thing that I wish I could have done is asking for a detailed breakdown of all costs associated with the work that he recommend. I had to ask Jorge to write down all the numbers, after the work is done, it was done on a piece of paper that I found on my kitchen table.
