Chinook Exteriors replaced all of our eavestroughs for us last fall and we had an excellent experience. The work was very professionally done and the contractors were great to deal with. It's been such a long winter, but on less cold days we noticed that one downspout stayed frozen at the bottom, while the other eavestroughs melted. So it was causing the water to overflow and as it re-froze, it created an icy patch on the walk way and ice build-up above the garage. We had this same issue before we got all new eavestroughs, so we were stumped on what was causing it. We called up Jean-Francois at Chinook Exteriors, and he couldn't have been better. He took the time to come by to take a look at the issue and came up with a few different solutions for us. Chinook Exteriors ended up replacing that downspout and re-positioning it so that it was exposed more to the sun, and it was free of charge. I think this speaks volumes about the company, and the owner Jean-Francois. It's hard to find reliable contractors these days, but you can trust these guys. They obviously take a lot of pride in there work and won't leave you hanging if you have a problem. Even in our case well after the job was done, over half a year later. They clearly stand behind their customer satisfaction guarantee. Jean-Francois asked that we let him know how it goes (so far the new downspout has been working perfectly) and to not hesitate to reach him next winter if a problem arises.
