He essentially rebooted the system, but checked the amp output, vents etc while he was at it. All fine. While I was very happy with the service and the rep, I would have appreciated the advice on the phone first to try turning off the switch and then turning it back on (rebooting the computer) which would have saved us doing without hot water for a day and having someone come out when, given the weather, you probably had far more important calls. Not to mention the $ it would have saved.
