Appliance Repairman – ridiculously expensive and unprofessional Expensive: · Charged $120 for a water valve broken by tech on site · Overall charge was $452.00 tax included. A brand new equivalent GE Dishwasher is $478.00 + tax (84 % its value) · When calling Appliance Repairman Contact Center prior to tech visit ($80 waived if accepted their labor quote) were unable to share estimate ranges for a simple leakage. However, when tech comes to my place it quickly flags a $280 + tax fee regardless if half an hour or 3 hour. Standard charge. Should I’ve know their ranges from my first call, I would not have requested their service. Unprofessional: · No warranty on labor performed. If it fails with same issue, you pay again. · Technician did not carry a lantern. Had to assist with mine. · Technician did not carry Teflon sealing tape. Had to provide mine. Technician did not carry a self-lock force plier. Had to provide mine. Please do not hire these guys under any circumstance.
