If I could give zero stars I would. Called Adams for a leaking dishwasher. Serviceman said he could not find a leak, but if it was leaking he suggested the entire motor unit would need to be replaced, roughly $550. So I purchased a new dishwasher under the impression that mine was a costly repair for an older dishwasher. When removing the dishwasher, I found the problem, the hose clamp had failed. I called Adams to tell them what the problem was and they re sent the serviceman who confirmed that all was needed was a new clamp, and that he would order one for me. Three days later they called me to pay for the clamp, which I was appalled that after I found the problem, showed the trained serviceman the problem and had already paid $90 service fee that they still charge me for the $13 clamp. They said they would not charge me but I would need to pick it up. I picked it up. turns out it was the wrong clamp, it was too large. I then went and purchased my own clamp. I was then able to to install and repair my dishwasher. I went to return the new dishwasher knowing that a replacement hose clamp would be considerably cheaper than a new dishwasher. However Canadian Appliance Source was charging me a $300 restocking fee on a $1200 dishwasher. I now have two perfectly good dishwashers, and Adams cost me $90 for a useless service visit, $5 for the new clamp, and $1200 for a new dishwasher; purchased under the pretence that my original was too costly a repair.
