I want to preface this review by saying that ISK was the subcontractor working on our job from another renovation company but I feel compelled to leave them a review since they did most of the work aside from picking up checks and the cabinetry. I know however that Arie does install cabinetry but we were restricted to two companies with the contractor we chose unfortunately. From the beginning of the job Arie and his team (Slava, Arie, and Andre) were easy to work with, gave us great ideas to help rework and maximize our space and were respectful, clean and considerate throughout the renovation process. Slava is amazing! He spent countless long days in our basement working diligently and he was very particular with how things were done. He shows much pride in his work as he should! At the end of each day (and throughout the day) he vacuumed and put his tools away neatly so that when we came down to take a peak at the work he had done that day we wouldn't be distracted by a huge mess. When it came to laying the hardwood floors Slava was very detailed in opening box after box to check the quality of the wood before installing it. Because it wasn't typical flooring he make sure that the colors all made sense as he laid it as well. We had curved edges done and he also insisted that they be metal instead of plastic as the metal was more durable. (plastic would have been easier) I only have great things to say about this man and we just love him to death! Andre was also a great electrician. He too was respectful, clean and organized. Always on top of what needed to be done and his part of the job was also done in a timely manner. He even helped us with an issue we were having with one of the breakers after installing a treadmill. :) Arie is a great project manager willing to fix any issues and do any work that needed to be done should anything fall behind. If there was any complaint that I would have with the job or the company its that Arie could be a little better about communicating with the client about the job if there are obstacles slowing things down or even personal issues. Overall this job took about 2.5 months.... close to three I think. They've had to come back due to delays with another cabinet contractor and have been willing and easy to deal with despite the delay. As you can see in the pictures below, the basement looks amazing and it turned out even better than we had planned! Please keep in mind the cost of the job above was with a reno company that contracted ISK so I cannot speak to their prices only that it would make sense that the cost would be less. How much I'm not sure. We did choose some higher end options like the floors (engineered hardwood with a subfloor built), higher end cabinetry, toilet and tile in the bathroom, rounded corners throughout and hardwood stairs with trim details. The cabinetry was separate and therefore not included in the cost of ISK's side of the job. Final note: Don't be fooled by companies that tell you the job can be done in 4-6 weeks. Our job needed attention to detail and great craftsmanship. The price reflects the job done. You get what you pay for. Thanks again to Arie, Slava and Andre!

Our basement renovation led us to suddenly need a shed built in the backyard. It was near end of season and shed village let us know they would do their best but it would all depend on weather. The weather worked in our favour and we received a call that they would be delivering the materials. The shed went up in two days and it looks fantastic in our small backyard! We are beyond happy with the entire process and final product. I highly recommend shed village to anyone looking to build a quality product.
