We had a big job last summer (2019) that required some creativity to accomplish. The shape of our property is unusual and it made replacing the stairs to our second floor entrance challenging. We spoke to 6 contractors, partly because we knew it would be costly and mostly because almost all of them seemed a little afraid of the complexity. Tom was the only one we spoke to who seemed confident his people could not only do the job but improve on the current design. The other contractors left me a bit worried but Tom was correct and The Anything Guys did a great job. If you're curious about the details of the job I'll include them below: The project required TAG to Demolish and remove concrete steps suspended from the second story, remove and replace multiple retaining walls, design and construct a two-story staircase that expands into a deck with a gate leading to the back yard. This included excavating 4 feet into our neighbours property for a length of over 100 feet and installing a drainage system followed by a longer retaining wall and finally a fence. As you might expect with any project involving digging we encountered a couple of unexpected problems but Tom had experienced people on hand to deal with them. The end result looks great, thanks!

Our furnace died in November on the same day we replaced every window in the house. We called RHE and Greg was here the same day to quote on a replacement.He had answers for every question I had and there were a lot. He called during the installation to make sure I was happy with the progress, and I was. The installers were quick, clean and surprisingly quiet given all the concrete drilling and tin snipping. The work they did with the electrical and the piping for the humidifier and condensate pump was an outstanding upgrade over what we had previously - it was extremely tidy and looks like it will be much easier to work with. Our neighbour recommended these guys and they did outstanding work. We replaced a three pane window with to picture panes and a center casement above a window seat, two standard casements and a double awning with a circle top on the third story. All the windows were in place just as it started raining. It took the two of them all day but they finished in the dark, pouring rain, on ladders and the temperature was about six degrees. We've had a solid opportunity to test out the efficiency of the new windows because our furnace quit when we turned it back on that night. With only space heaters we've been able to keep the house at a livable temperature despite night time lows of 0.
