As for the "bad" portion, we are very sorry to hear you found our service expensive. Prior to hiring us, our pricing and payment methods were explained to you in great detail. The crew can give a rough idea of weight but without actually weighing it, it is extremely difficult to provide accurate information.
We cannot ask for authorization to charge the credit card after everything has been weighed as the work was all completed. Which is why we disclose all charges and expectations prior to completing and taking on the job.
The appointment could not be changed to a later time on sat as the landfill closes at 12pm and this was explained.
The "ugly"
Not certain as to why you indicated we did a $1000 hold as this is not our policy nor was this done?
Junk removal is based on weight and no other charges (hourly, truck expenses etc) are charged. A weigh scale ticket was immediately provided to you indicating the actual weight of your items.
We pride ourselves on full transparency and we have never been questioned before re: our integrity
We are truly sorry you felt that your items weighed more than they actually did. We are also sorry you feel you have paid more than what you thought you should.
We did take your call and our CEO did in fact get in touch with you. At the end of the conversation, it was clear that you were upset that your items weighed more than what you thought. That unfortunately, is out of our control.
We do believe we provided a great service for a great price.
