If there were any high points of the COVID 19-year 2020 year for us, it was our decision to retain M.E. Contracting for our backyard landscaping renovation. From beginning to end this group of highly skilled professionals transformed our backyard into something that we can be very proud of. The process has been seamless, from the initial stage when our landscape designer submitted plans to several companies for comparative pricing to the project completion. M.E. Contracting responded in a timely fashion with a most reasonable estimate, which was competitive and well detailed. Our interactions with Eitan, the owner of M.E. Contracting, and Daryl, our Project Manager have been very positive in all respects. Pre-construction, we were invited to visit the beautiful showroom of M.E. Contracting, where we met Eitan, looked at samples of PVC deck colours and paver stones, and had an opportunity to discuss various product options. Nothing was too much trouble for this company. All onsite team members involved with our project, specifically; demolition, removal and replacement of our old deck to PVC, preparing and planting our new gardens, constructing the hole, retaining wall and cement base for a large inground swim spa/pool, and construction of the paved portion for a beautiful patio were hard working, professional and obviously seasoned trades people. Due to delays in the arrival of our pool (from a separate supplier) caused by the COVID pandemic, M.E. Contracting went above and beyond to make the renovation fit our schedule. At the end of each phase of the project everything was left tidy and safe for people to access the area. Daryl was always available and often on-site providing direction and input when required. M.E. Contracting invoicing was appropriately spaced and always accurate, fair and detailed. There were never any surprises. My wife and I praise this company in all respects, they are first rate, and we would not hesitate in recommending them to others.

We recently did a large home renovation with Renovation Experts. The scope of work included on the main floor: a partial wall removal to increase the size of our living and family room area, removal of popcorn ceilings, removal of large wood burning fireplace, installation of pot-lights, one remodeled main floor bathroom and a new gas fireplace, and on the second floor two remolded bathrooms; and painting primarily on the main floor and 50% of the second floor. We found Stan and his site foreman David to be very considerate of our comfort by keeping the work area safe and relatively clean, and by keeping us informed what was planed to be worked on days ahead. Work was conducted on week days only. As for quality of work, we are extremely pleased. Stan has hired a great team of contractors. The workmanship is excellent. Everybody who came to work at our home was very professional and pleasant to deal with. David the site foreman was always there when you needed him. Stan Boigon, the owner of Renovation Experts managed the project according to budget and time. Stan was also very accessible, and prompt with returning calls and emails. His billing was very accurate, and he gave very fair allowances. He provided a good itemized billing with an excel spreadsheet that was easy to read and explained all costs and add-on’s if applicable. He worked very well with our designer. Overall, this renovation was a very positive experience for my wife and me. We were referred to Renovation Experts by my daughter who had a very good experience with them as well. We feel extremely fortunate that we chose Renovation Experts.

Andy did a terrific job refinishing my main floor and matching old hardwood with newly installed wood. The work was impeccable. I would not hesitate to recommend Doctor Hardwood. He came with a three man team and finished well within schedule and within budget. No surprises.

I made an appointment for 7:30am with Strong Plumbing and Vanentin was at my doorstep at 7:25am. He was very polite and extremely professional. He was able to identify the problem using his camera that had created water seepage in the basement during a severe storm. He also provided the solution to the problem which we will certainly employ the services of Strong in the next few weeks to correct.
