Firstly. I have no complaints with the technician, Wayne, he was knowledgeable and efficient. My complaint is with the pricing this company uses. Even if I assume an inflated labour price of $300.00 per hour and a 150% mark-up of parts used, I can only reach slightly more than half of what this company charged.
There are many costs associated with getting a highly professional plumber like Wayne to your home. Some of these costs include hiring and training the most highly qualified technicians who are background checked and drug free, making sure we are available to answer the phones 24 hours a day, that our company is fully insured and that our technicians arrive at your home with a fully stocked vehicle with over 5000 parts to ensure that we can take care of virtually any problem. Other companies are not so prepared and need to run out to get parts (which they charge you for). We want you to feel confident that you are getting a trustworthy technician when he comes to your home. We strive to provide the best customer service possible and are up front and honest with our client at all times. In this case, Wayne would have arrived at your home and assessed the situation before determining the cost up front. He would have presented you with the price and asked you if you would like him to go ahead and get started. We do this so that you know all the costs up front and to ensure there are absolutely no surprises at the end of the job.
