We needed to replace the 33 year old skylights in our Viceroy home. One approx 4 ft by 5 ft, the second unit approx 2.5 ft by 18 ft. Both skylights are in cathedral ceilings and being non standard design required significant restructuring of the roof exterior and the the interior drywall. We had received proposals from several contractors during the past year, none of which meet our expectations. We emailed an outline of our requirements to Kovar Contracting. Jason Kovar promptly phoned to set up a meeting. He came, inspected the exterior, the interior, took detailed measurements. Jason asked for a second meeting and brought his colleague Kevin, to review the project with us. A few days later Kovar provided a detailed written proposal for the project. We reveiwed the proposal and accepted it with few changes. In particular we liked Kovar's terms, payment when job is complete. Kovar Contracting was very good to deal with. Completed the work promptly. Considerate of our home, protecting floors etc. Was very good about dust control when doing the interior ceiling dry wall work. Excellent repainting of the drywall. Very good job of the roof shingle replacement.
