Work was done 3 years ago. After one year driveway had numerous cracks down the length, and across the full width of the driveway. Called them and PC sent someone out to "repair" the cracks, and colour match was very poor and actually accentuated the cracks. There was an area at the front of the house that was originally sealed and got wet (from rain) and the sealer never took, and it left a white spot about 1' in diameter, this was also poorly repaired (after numerous calls/attempts). The grading was not done correctly and now water pools in front of my house every time it rains. I should mention this is not a new house (25+years), so the ground on which the concrete was laid was very solid and thoroughly compacted by the previous interlock driveway. Connie and owner did respond to my issues and came out to look at it, and said the issue was with the concrete supplier and they were " looking into it" that was over a year ago, and have received no updates, and basically feel like they have abandoned any desire to make things right. I paid $18k for this work, and can honestly say I hate my driveway, and every time I leave my house I'm reminded of how much I hate my driveway. And PC's name is clearly stamped in it in two places, so people will know who NOT to use when they get theirs done. That is unless they like paying $18k for a driveway full of cracks. I tried to work with them so I would not have to write a negative review, but I'm left with no choice, as they seem to have completely left me holding the bag. Don't be fooled by them saying they're looking into this issue, they are not and did not, as there has been nothing done to make this right. So what does that say about PC? Do you want to trust this company? I even reached out them after their reply, and got no response. I am now considering possible legal action to "correct" this situation. I had hoped it would not come to this, but I feel I am now left with no choice. See attached photos. My driveway looked like this 1 year after being done! You can clearly see the stress cuts in the concrete are not doing their job, and this was AFTER their "repair" job! UPDATE: Despite PC saying "Patterned Concrete is still working on resolving your issue BRUCE. We love good reviews but we don't give up on our customers. " They have not reached out to me, or provided an update, or done anything after how many years? For them to say we don't give up on customers is an outright false statement. they do, and they have with me. I thought I did my homework, and hired the right company, but in the end, like a lot of the service industry now, they took my $18k, did a lousy job, and walked away. And now, are falsely claiming on Homestars, that they're working on resolving my issue!! You want to resolve it? There's 2 options here, you come and rip this mess up and do it again with GOOD concrete, or give me my $18k back, and I'll hire a company that knows how to properly install a stamped concrete driveway/walkway.
