I had a water leak into a closet door frame 3 weeks ago which led me to suspect a roof leak. Upon searching the internet, I came across Ambicorp whom will be able to capture views of my roof and shingles of any issues. Upon calling Rob, he was able to arrange a home inspection within the week on the Sat to inspect the leak and also doing a full home inspection of my 4 year old house. Rob first did a very thorough job on checking on my roof, condition of my shingles and attic. He initially did not want to know where the leak was so he can do a non-biased assessment which he found out we had some missing shingles and an "opening" of the roof (he saw sunlight from the attic - not a good sign!). Later, I showed him where the leak was and indeed the "opening" was the culpit. He was very thorough in his full home inspection including thermal infrared scan (not extra cost) and checking all the attic entrances, checking leaks from faucets running, all the electrical outlets and even the adequacy of protection of our alarm system. He noticed two exterior electrical outlets in our balconies were not GFI protected although they were built according to building code. I am grateful for his finding as it is a safety concern in my perspective. The full report with pictures was sent to us within 3 hours after the inspection. He also gave me a contact on a roofer whom we were able to get our shingles replaced on the same day. I would highly recommend Rob!
