We decided against using Maggio this year because we found their weeding and seeding to ineffective. I received a renewal contract, but did not return it. I then had my credit charged for the entire annual fee as a result of their 'automatic renewal' clause. I was a day late to cancel, so am 'stuck' with them for this season, or I can choose to cancel for a 50 per cent fee. Clearly a company desperate for clients who whose business runs in what I find to be a dishonest fashion.

We have used Maggio for a few years now to do our weeding and seeding. At the outset, we felt they were effective; however, over time, the results we were seeing were negligible, with 'overseeding' producing no results and the weed treatment not deterring weed growth and spread. I caution anyone who is considering this company to ask for disclosure of all costs. I was given a quote for bat removal, but once the technician was on-site, the quote doubled to take care of additional access/egress points. During my initial quote, the possibility of minor additional costs was discussed, but not with a per-foot cost ($25 per additional ft), an amount I would have taken into consideration. I believe I was misled and would not recommend using this company.

We had an issue with water seeping into our family room as a result of a poorly planned eavestrough and downspout configuration. It was not an obvious solution, but Trevor sorted it out, angled the eavestrough, re-routed the downspout and eliminated the problem completely. Trevor was thorough, professional, timely and a pleasure to deal with. His work was excellent and the price was fair. I would recommend him highly and without reservation.
