I bought new carpet for my rental condo I was selling. The staff selling me the carpet was great - fast, efficient, and my account was quickly charged. The installation process was not so smooth and when the job was done sub-standardly I contacted them immediately as they contract out their installs. Home Depot agreed the part in question was done poorly and contacted the installer who told me that somebody was going to have to pay more money to have it done correctly as per the contract and they would discuss it with Home Depot. After days of not hearing anything I called Home Depot directly to find out what they were proposing. They had no solution, had not been working on not solution, and were not able to tell me when they thought they would be able to come up with a solution. My complaint was forwarded on to another manager "Brian" and now it has been 4 more days and NO COMMUNICATION from Home Depot. They were fully aware of the need for this to be dealt with in a timely manner as the condo is up for sale and viewings were happening. I also bought a Whirlpool fridge from them 3 years ago and have had 3 service calls for, you guessed it, three different issues and I'm still not happy with it. Like prior reporters have stated, they won't give me a new one unless the calls are all for the same issue. I was planning on using Home Depot and their installation services to do some reno's on my own home - mainly the kitchen, bathroom, flooring, and exterior door. I most certainly will not. I won't be buying any more appliances there either. At the most, I may spend my money on some paint and garden rock, but even then, I'm not so sure I want to even do that at this point. Very disappointing.
