4 months for a 2 day job!!!! I had only 7 upper cabinets replaced, no wiring, no plumbing, no drywall. Contract was signed Aug 23/16, work started Nov 14. Finally got my glass doors and shelves late January, and the last of my handles and finishing touches February 27, 2017

In this specific case, changes to a design or additional items, ie. shelving, moldings, paneling; do extend the timeline. Your renovation was also spread over the holidays unfortunately which would extend the timeline as well.
