we bought our home in NE calgary from a couple who had 2 very large and messy dogs. we to have large dogs. I wanted to change out the flooring from carpet to a tile look lino. Tanya from contempe came out and measured living room dinning room and family room. Since i do have pets, i thought this idea was a great option, and i was right. A few days after measuring Tanya met us at the contempo show room, which is vast to say the least. we picked out our flooring and talked to her about our options. We decided to do some of the work ourselves to be able to afford a more expensive lino, so we pulled up the carpet and underlay ourselves then we layed down the sub-floor. the contempo guys came in and did all of the seams with filler and made sure that everything was level. The floor went down in less than a day and they left the work area cleaner than when they got there, they even helped us move our furniture back before they left.

i have been looking for a fireplace to put into my bathroom, yes you heard me right. i found a great selection of vent-less alcohol burning fireplaces at this company. i didn't find exactly what i was looking for but the rep gave me the website to look at more models. he also gave me some ideas on how i could use a fireplace and then cover it in tile to match my bath instead of just the stainless steel of the regular models. these are such a great idea. you can put it anywhere for looks and warmth with no smoke or soot .

Meet the Aga appliance rep at the calgary home and garden show this weekend. Was very informative on all sorts of cooking appliances, not necissaraly what he carried, he really knows what was out there. The rep wasnt push but gave me the best appliance detail, and acctually sent me to another company because he didnt carry what was best for me. reaaly great service.

blinn construction does all our theatre sets. Darryl the owner personally oversees all of the work done. ecellent at reading blueprints and doing sepecialized work such as building doors and windows etc. you wont pbe disappointed.

I was very surprised to go into Benjamin Moore paint, and found that the prices there are actually lower than the prices at major department stores. we ordered the contractor grade paint that has excellent coverage in just one coat, even though the can recommends 2 coats. The also offer tester size samples which is great for someone like me because i sometimes need to use a lot of colors for painting signs for the theater ext.
