I purchased my washer/dryer from Home Depot in November, who outsources their deliveries to a company called ‘Logistic Specialty Freight’. Every time I was given a delivery date, they didn’t show up, and then whenever I called to reschedule I had to fight to get a date. This happened 6 or 7 times. I called Home Depot every time and they took no responsibility and just told me it was outsourced and to wait for my call. The Home Depot representatives were very unprofessional and even complained about how bad this delivery company was. Yet they still used them. I was so disappointed with their lack of accountability. I paid for my appliances and it was Home Depots responsibility to ensure they made it to my door. I am lucky English is my first language because if I wasn’t able to navigate this system I would still be waiting for my appliances. I asked for home depot to send out a new set via a different company and I was told they were already picked up from the delivery company and I had to wait. Yesterday my appliances finally made it to my door 7 hours after Home Depot sent the "my appliances were on their way and we were the next delivery" call. After numerous complaints I was sent to a “resolution specialist” and I was told a resolution manager would be calling me. I am still waiting for this call. I have never had to deal with so much incompetence before in my life, both from Home Depot and the delivery company. I will never be shopping at Home Depot again.
