We had Nexgen come out to do some stucco repairs after we rebuilt a deck. The finished product was fantastic. They blended the new stucco into the existing nearly seemlessly and the painting was great as well. I will use them again when we do future renos on the exterior.

Belfor was contracted by my insurance company to do emergency response to a flood from my dishwasher. Belfor was pretty timely to come out and got a remediation crew out later that evening. They failed to tell me what they wanted me to do (eg get a plumber out to remove the dishwasher). Despite that, they put dehumidifiers in the house (which are very loud if you have not experienced it). They didn't tell me how long they needed to be turned on, and it took me calling them 4 days later to get them out. What really annoyed me about belfor was their lack of planning. They would call me up a day before they needed to send a crew in to remove some hardwood, and would come in for 15 minutes (forcing me to stay home from work and wait for them). Then would need to come back a couple of days later. They were in my house numerous times, and the dehumidifiers kept getting turned on as they were trying to save the hardwood (which was a write off according to a couple of contractors that I had come in to look at for second opinions). When I was trying to get them to get my insurance company a quote to do the rebuild it took 6 weeks, and they got the scope wrong!

We had Elite Trade paint our main floor which had oak build ins, baseboards and walls (including vaulted ceilings). They did a great job and came in reasonably priced. When they quoted, they explained their plan, and let us know what products they were using (including letting us know that some of the products may have a very strong odour, and we should avoid staying in the house those days). The only drawback was that the house was completely under cover with very few access points, which they could have warned us of a bit better. Overall, we are very impressed by the quality of the work, and happy with the end product.
