*** Updated review on *** I wanted to update my previous review (see below) from a 10/10 to a 0/10. Here's the reason why. I have now had 3 jobs done by Wow 1 Day Painting. About 5 months ago, Wow 1 Day Painting quoted me for a another job which we decided to not move forward on. We called them this week deciding to move forward on it. The sales rep said he will schedule it. Suddenly the owner calls me today and said he wants to decline the job because as customers we are "too particular". He said this new job (which was spraying staircase railings) was a difficult job, and because of its sensitivity "no amount of money is good enough" because of how we are as customers. Even though, he attached a very hefty premium for the job in the first place -- which we were willing to pay. Even more odd, the last job that Wow 1 Day Painting took from us, was *outdoor* railings job, which we had had almost no revision requests (see below review). So where did this opinion come from? The weird thing is how pleasant the exchange was with all the painters when they were at our home. When we did request a change, they acknowledged that yes, it was indeed an issue and corrected it. And for the ones that were more difficult to fix, we were reasonable and said no problem. I've lost a lot of respect for this company, but I think this for sure comes from the owner and not the painters. But nonetheless, calling to decline a job and alienate a fair (and loyal) customer just tells me the owner has no clue about anything to do with customer service. Too bad it has to reflect on the entire company and I will never use them or recommend them to anyone going forward. They even asked us once the jobs were done to give them a pleasant review - which we did (see below). Previous review: This week I had WoW 1-day painting back at my home, this time for the outside. We had our porch railings and columns painted. As usual, outstanding service. This was the second job George was responsible for, and he never disappoints. He is always so throurough in prep to ensure that he doesn't ruin other parts of our home. He always makes sure we are happy with the job and asks us to inspect his work, and if ever we are not satisfied, he gladly touches it up. I want to say this company in general is so well run. They are a dying breed of companies who really care to make their customers happy. Do not hesitate to hire them!

Hello again Milinda. First of all, thank you for stating in your original 10 STAR review: Do Not Hesitate To Hire Them! We truly appreciate this. To be fair, I never said: No amount of money is good enough". You and I both know this is not true. Let's go back in time shall we...You called us in because one of our largest competitors did a poor job in your home (I won't even name there here as we are far more professional than that). My salesperson flagged to me you were going to be very particular with the work requested based on your feedback performed by our competitor. Which is totally fine. However, this is why I came out to your home personally before the first job to ensure we aligned on expectations and what was and was not possible. You still called us back for touch ups which we did with a smile and without argument. We did such a great job meeting your very high expectations you called us back to complete a second job for you. Once again I was made aware your expectations were exceptionally high, which we delivered on and left a 10 STAR review for. Thank you for that!

Yesterday, you called us back and asked us to produce the job we quoted 5 months ago. I called you today to decline the opportunity as politely as I could because of how challenging and risky the project is and how high I know your expectations are. To be clear, I would also decline this type of job for ANY CUSTOMER. It is that challenging. You pressed me for a further reason. Once again I said I do not believe we would be able to meet your expectations...to which you said: Are you calling me picky and became unreasonably angry. I did not call you picky. That would be rude. I followed up by saying: No, I said you were very particular and I do not feel as though we would be able to meet your expectations and would therefore like to forgo this opportunity together. I am truly sorry this aggravated you so much.

To try and negatively impact my business because I declined your project is confirmation enough for me I made the right decision in choosing to not work with you again and I trust my future customers reading this will also realize this.

For the last 1+ year, we have done several renovations at our home. And in our experience, quality workmanship is hard, if not impossible to come by. Rob and Direct Overhead Doors were a breath of fresh air. From the initial on site visit, to communication throughout, and the final delivery and installation, execution was perfect. True professionals, do not hesitate to hire them.

Prospective customers, please read. It brings me great pleasure to provide a review for Igor and the Comfortec team. I first found Comrortec Windows and Doors through Homestars and decided to have him provide an on site estimate, since his reviews were so strong on here. I noticed right away that he was very knowledgeable about his products and windows in general. He actually had sample windows in his vehicle and showed us all the various options to choose from and how they work in practice. He is very suave and sells well. After his presentation and walk through of our home, he provided a quote which very was fair priced with a reasonable delivery/installation date. He then recommended we make the deposit right away to ensure that we move the project forward. I still wanted to take quotes from other Window companies before I committed, but he insisted he would be the best. I ended up paying the required deposit while he was on site. I usually never do this, I'm a huge skeptic since I've have had many bad experiences. I then (regrettably) somehow convinced myself over the next few hours after he left, that Igor may have just pulled a fast one. Just by how fast I gave him the deposit and that it may have been a mistake because he could just be a really good salesman. I very assertively requested a refund, he said sure, I'll give you the refund. I ended up meeting him for the refund at the factory that produced the windows. Let me tell you, I couldn't believe how large a facility it was. The owners of the facility all knew Igor very well and he took his time to show me how everything gets built in the factory. He didn't have to do this, he already agreed to refund me. I decided to change my mind and go forward with him. And am I glad I did! Everything he promised, he delivered. The windows were delivered on time. They were beautiful, not a scratch on them. Perfectly measured. The installation team was led by Paul, very nice, helpful, hardworking and professional. Just as Igor promised, it took two days. The second day they wanted to ensure they completed it and worked from 9am - close to 9pm. These guys are incredible. We have been renovating our entire home all year and have unfortunately had trades make many, many mistakes, from top to bottom. Igor was a breath of fresh air, rarely do you get somebody from start to finish, takes their time, is fair with price, delivers on schedule and cares about their customers and their work. I will recommend Igor to anybody and everybody. And for his troubles, I told him I'd keep his sign on my lawn through the warm weather in 2021. GO WITH COMFORTEC! Do not think twice. I now have asked Igor to do the honours of my front door as well!
