The Babin Ironworks team was very good. The detailed measure made for a flawless install. Richard and the the team went the extra mile to bring the stairs from North Bay to Toronto and tore down and installed in less than 4 hours. They left the job site clean and tidy. Damon did a great job on my semi-detached Edwardian home. I had plants growing between the brick and the ground along the side of my home and water was seeping in. Damon and his team removed the grasses and weeds, power washed the area, added parging around the basement windows with two coats and then finished off with caulking. Damon also removed and reapplied concreted on the walls of my basement entry that were damaged from retaining water. I care about the aesthetics and Damon was a patient collaborator, working with me to get the job done to my requirements. I don't hesitate to recommend Damon and his team at DJW! Thanks again.
Working with Class A Cleaning Services was disappointing, they are nice but they just can't deliver. There is a lack of experience among the cleaners, it's mostly surface cleaning. Lack of attention to detail. High turnover in staff. Rushed service is overpriced for the results and the number of cleaners (always 2 people). Use them only if you're desperate.

Merit is the convenience store of hardware stores. They have useful stuff you may need in a bind, but they're over priced. I also used a painter they recommended who did a mediocre job at what ended up being top price.
