We contacted Clarke Basement Systems to replace our existing sump pit, pump and discharge, which I would describe as a builder basic with no back-up, etc. Dymitri and Ali were professional and thoughtful to work with throughout the installation. They lowered the sump pit to allow space for a back-up pump, installed the pit and pump system along with a back-up battery and also replaced our discharge line. The work was done with minimal disruption to us. Runners were laid from our front door to the work area and the entire space was left clean. The space looks great and we now have peace of mind. Money well spent.

We hired Killam Wylde to complete a reno of the primary bathroom, powder room and entryway in our 100 year old home and we are absolutely thrilled with the results! The primary bathroom was gutted and completely refinished (new window, tub, vanity, toilet, lighting, etc.). Within the powder room and entry way a new subfloor, tile, lighting and HVAC work were completed, a doorway was increased, and trim was replaced. All of the finishing and fixtures were sourced by Tobie (Killiam Wylde). Finding items that were stylish and in stock was a challenge in the middle of a pandemic, but Tobie worked with multiple suppliers to find in stock options for us to choose from. Tobie made the process of sourcing and deciding materials/fixtures easy by providing options without overwhelming us. The result of the design is exactly what we wanted. Tobie also communicated with us regularly on status, etc. and the invoice we received was very detailed and accurate. Vic’s (Killiam Wylde) craftmanship is exceptional. Vic completed the renovation work very promptly and was extremely detail oriented throughout the entire process. Vic was always on time to the job and let me know any challenges that he ran into (while opening walls in our 100 year old house) as well as options and solutions to still work toward our end goal in the space. Vic also went out of his way to do try to match the new trim in our home to our 100 year old trim – this was a feat in and of itself. Working with Toby and Vic was a great experience. I plan to bring them back for additional work on our home in the future. I would absolutely recommend Killam Wylde to anyone looking for a contractor/designer team without hesitation.

Having RJ Surveying complete our Certified Boundary Survey and Marking of Fence Line was a pleasure. We were working under very tight deadlines to build a fence and obtain a survey to sell our home. Shane and his team completed the work very quickly and were able to accommodate our tight timeline, which even had them working on Good Friday! The team was very courteous and communicated effectively. The deliverables of the job were well detailed in the contract and the cost was reasonable. I would recommend RJ Surveying to others looking to have surveying related work completed.
