We own a commercial office complex in Mississauga which was damaged by a fire extinguisher freeze in january of 2014. After asking for quotes from a number of renovators, we chose Solution Build, as the story we were told, and the price were very good. From the get-go it was a disaster. The work done was very sub-par, and we had to insist that parts of were re-done. As time went on, Mr. Alavi became very demanding about payment, however the work did not match the amounts paid. He kept insisting that we kept up with the payment schedule, but the work fell further and further behind. Finally, the work was stopped, and he claimed that we were behind on the payments. We paid the entire contract in full, but he did not return to complete the work. We ended up taking his company to court, however he made an offer to settle just prior to going into the court chamber. We accepted a payment schedule, however he has not paid anything and the payment date for the first installment has passed. He was contacted by e-mail (because he will not answer our calls), and have neither had any response, or payment of the debt to our company.
