I had my roof done with this contractor 2 years ago.Overall the service was satisfied. The price was very competitive comparing with other roofing companies, and the customer service was good. They were willing to take jobs that are far from their location (I live 60km away). The quality seems fine. There was a minor problem after the job was completed and the owner came back another day and fixed it (he has traveled 60km one-way). Two years now the roof seems fine so I think the job was done properly. The only downside is they need to make it less messy when working. I saw some other companies throw old shingles into dumpsters properly but they seems not targeting very well. I've found old piece shingles and nails here and there and some plants were damaged.

This is the update for my driveway/frontsteps interlocking contracted with In-Home-Services that was done back in Sept. 2009 which cost $6000. It was an extremely bad experience (bad customer service/poor quality) when the good was done. A year later, the driveway started sinking, and the front steps started shifting. Called the service number many times never got any response (although it is written 2 years warranty in the contract). Last call I had and the lady who answered the phone told me it was another company which I couldn't recognize. I think this company has changed its name for its bad reputation. Anyway, I had to hire another contractor to fix the interlocking problems that was done less than 2 years.

I have to say In-home-services Interlocking is the worst contactors I have even seen. They have signs everywhere, attracting people with their low price. Yes, their so-called-promotion price sounds a good deal, but once you sign a contract with them, then your nightmare starts. They have terrible customer service, the boss Dave treats customers extremely badly. They do their work very quickly, yes, it sounds good, right? They do it so fast, for my two-car garage and front steps, they only assigned 8 hours for the work and when it was getting dark, they withdrew all stuf and left frontsteps unfinished. They claimed the work was done and asked for the balanced payment. I was so pissed off and argued with the boss Dave. Finally he agreed to keep one guy to finish the frontsteps. The frontstep was eventually finished but they made lots of damages on my garden, and left tons of junks on the road. This company is definitely a scam. Before you decide to hire a contractor, you should do your own research first, do not trust the references they provided. A while ago, I met someone in my daughter’s dancing school and talked about interlocking contractor, she said she hired In-home-services a year ago, and the driveway seemed getting move around and had bumps already. Although they claimed two years warranty, they never came back to fix them. I am starting to worry about mine…
