Rawstewage in Vancouver

Following the building of my laneway home, I hired Carageen to do the entire landscaping. He appeared to be a good guy and I paid him half upfront. He finished off 95% of the work. He needed to come back in spring to plant the remaining bushes and fix discrepancies. I made the mistake of paying the entire balance including the future work needed, which he was to perform the upcoming spring. Come Spring he never showed up to complete the work. He finally replied to my message and promised to come and finish of the work but he has never shown up. Fast forward 9 months to this review, he no longer replies to my countless messages. I also let him use my string level for my job which he has not returned to me. Carageen is primarily a one man show for my job. His workmanship is very AVERAGE for what he charges. I would NEVER hire this company again and would NOT recommend him to anyone, as he has not lived up to his end of the bargain. There are many landscapers out there that would do a better job for the same money. Go elsewhere.

Kevin and his crew at Komo Roofing are hands down, the best group of guys that I have ever dealt or worked with. I was the general contractor on my current home and have hired many trades people and I have not worked with anyone or any company as good as Komo Roofing. Kevin's communication and honesty is top notch and unmatched. Nothing comes close to how he serves his clients. He is very up front, a top level communicator on your project and there are no surprise costs at the end. He delivers exactly what he says. He goes over an above the call of duty. If you are in the need of a new roof or any of the other services that Kevin offers, DO NOT HESITATE to call him. I also had my fascia replaced and Kevin helped with getting that done. Although roofing is his specialty, he can help you with more than that, as he did with my job. He makes your job a top priority and does not jump from job to job like pretty much all tradespeople or contractors do. Kevin is a gem and there are not many people out there like him.
