I am very impressed with JunkIT. Initially I had some issues with the online system, and the team helped me through the concerns I had (Chris (owner?) reached out directly). The drivers who show up are incredibly nice and are extremely concerned about damaging our lawn etc. (even though calling it a "lawn" is generous). The trucks come on time, I get a call in advance of delivery and pickup. I won't do business with another company, even if I was able to find a cheaper price.

John re-keyed 3 doors for us and cut 10 keys. He showed up on time, did the job very professionally, and at the price he quoted! He was also extremely friendly and happy to give advice etc.

We hired Mtech Solutions to help renovate two rooms in our 35 year old house and get them ready for painting. Mark did an incredible job laying our flooring, and doing the baseboard work. He rebuilt the closets as well, and did a great job hanging the doors.

Avenue Insulation spray-foamed our basement on the 23rd of December, and I'm just getting around to giving them a review (we're just finishing our renos today!) The end results, a warmer basement and better sound proofing, were beyond our expectations. Our contractors, and some friends in the reno business thought the job was excellent as well. Expect referrals! Beyond the results, my fiance and I were extremely pleased with the fact that Avenue Insulation showed up on time, cleaned up well, and also didn't have an issue with a last minute addition (one extra wall to foam) and re-quote. Dan and Steve are finishing our basement today, and I wanted to express how pleased my fiancé and I are with their workmanship and professionalism. We received 7 different quotes for the work on our basement. Two of those companies walked in, looked horrified by the situation, and gave us on the spot quotes (bad sign imo). Dan and Steve showed up, said “we can do that” and “here’s how we’d do it”. Amazing. They weren’t the cheapest of the bunch, but they were competitively priced. The job involved fixing up our basement, pretty much from scratch as we had encountered 2 leaks which caused a fair amount of water damage throughout our newly purchased home. Dan and Steve stayed on budget, on time, and worked around two other contractors (one for spray-foaming, and one for tiled floors). We tacked on a lot of extra items as we went along, which never seemed to frustrate the guys from Town Contracting. We were so happy with the work, and the positive attitudes from Dan and Steve, that we’d be happy to act as references for them (ask to see Mike and Diane's basement).
