Awesome inspector who encouraged me to follow around while the inspection took place. Learned a lot, especially concerning contractors who don't know all of the codes that they should. Just because it looks good doesn't necessarily mean its done right. This is our second inspection with Accurate and it wont be our last!
An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
Although the home we wanted to purchase was only 5 years old we still felt it was important to have the home inspected. Even though the home was built before the real estate boom it was going to be the biggest purchase of our lives and we wanted to be confident that it was of sound workmanship. The home was not 100% and we now know of the problems and could do some of the required upgrades ourselves. Accurate home inspections pointed out the little things a potential buyer could easily overlook and regretfully discover later. We've watched enough "Holmes on Homes" TV episodes of people losing their shirts over a house that looked great to the buyers but was an obvious lemon to an inspector. A couple of hundred dollars for peace of mind on a home worth several hundreds of thousands of dollars makes perfect sense.
