The designer and I were able to secure the design I had in mind prior to the site visit for measuring; the images helped. Calgary Custom Closets was the more affordable than the alternative and it seems to be a good product and a consistent team. Too bad it is such a pricey venture, I'd have them all done.

I selected EcoStar on a referral. I elected to hire a professional with the expectation that the result would be better and faster than I can do. I did get faster, the products used were nice, and the flat surfaces looked good. The painter did not back roll the spray primed hallway, so the primer dried heavily in patches. He ended up power sanding the entire hallway back down then rolled it. The kitchen cabinets were poorly cut around, an outside corner where the paint project ended was left with a significant run all of the way down the adjacent corner, odd spots were missed, 'haloing' can be seen in some light where ceiling edges were cut in after the the surface was rolled, and 3 inside corners where colours met were poorly edged. These were the details I expected a professional to execute much better than I. I also had difficulty making myself heard such that the painter yelled at me in my own home at one point. I believe EcoStar meant to do well be me, but I cannot recommend the technical result.

I just had Baki's Ceiling Texturing over again to refinish the second ceiling in 2 years. I find the company to be reliable in terms of showing up at the time, and completing the work agreed to. BCT arrives appropriately equipped including drop cloths and and other protective materials. Shane is professional and a pleasure to speak with and I've been happy with his skill. My ceiling had 40 year old staining show through the new texture application this time and BCT came over to rectify the final product. What more can you ask for? Shane takes pride in his work and values his clients. I've already referred BCT to a long time friend.
