I purchased laminate flooring from Jordan's in the summer of 2015. When I picked up my floors, the sales associate said the store had run out of the foam underlayment I had purchased, and they would only be able to give me half. She said I could pick up the rest when I needed it. Our install got delayed, so we were only able to complete one level of our house. When we were organizing ourselves to finish the install in 2016, I attempted to contact the sales associate to arrange for the rest of the underlayment. It is my assumption that she had since been let go, as the store manager told me I was SOL. He offered me a "deal" on the remaining underlayment I would need, and that he would call me after he got back from his vacation to arrange it. I never heard back from him after that. While I should have done my due diligence in record keeping for this "questionable" agreement, I would expect better customer service from a national company such as Jordan's. Why are they allowing sales people to do things of this nature? Why is the store running out of something as common as foam underlayment? I will not be recommending Jordan's to any of my friends or family going forward.
