Aiman from Dial One was courteous, thorough, and professional. I found Dial One on Homestars with their high rating and after having them clean my ducts, I am very happy with finding them and will be calling them again to do it again when needed, likely in a few years from now. I would recommend them to family and friends happily. It was the second time I've hired duct cleaners after moving into my house (lived in a condo before). One of the key benefits I thought was Dial One's model for charging an "all-in-one" rate, so when Aiman cleaned my AC coils, the HVAC unit, certain lines, some were clearly missed several years ago when I last had them cleaned by another contractor. I don't even remember being offered the full suite of services in the past with the other contractor. To compare, Dial One will clean everything for the one rate. I'm very happy. I feel that my house is thoroughly clean with regards to air circulation and can rest assured my family is in a home with clean ducts. Aiman cleaned my dryer vent and also helped me check the back of my dryer since it was causing problems and I learned a lot about my dryer to say the least with his help! It isn't often that you come across someone that helps you with a project, and that at the end of the project you only wished you had more projects for them to work on. Tom was like that for us. He gave us an extremely courteous experience and a job extremely well done. We had fallen in love with our new home and with the very large, 88 cm in diameter, 80+ year-old Norway Maple that was the centre piece of the backyard. After having consulted several well-regarded arborists/consultants in Toronto about the health of the tree, we made the very difficult and emotional decision to remove the tree for safety. We sought a quality and experienced arborist that was going to be safe with our property, himself and his crew, as well as with our neighbours, and that didn't make us feel that we would be privileged to have their services like some of the large contractors that we contacted for quotes. Tom and his crew met and exceeded all of our expectations. We live in a dense neighbourhood, which also added to the complexity of the project, and we let most of our surrounding neighbours know of the removal, all of them having known the tree longer than ourselves. During and after the removal, I received comments from them on what they saw when the tree was being disassembled. They described that it was like poetry - the control, the safety, the pace. And all the crew were very much a team, and all acted very polite and courteous. I'm actually rather surprised that we found Tom and his team. This was definitely a lucky find, one that we hope all of our contractors would live up to. We had Tom also grind away the stump, and replant our replacement tree next to it. It will take time for the new one to grow to the size of the giant tree that we had but as soon as we need some more tree work, Tom will be our guy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
