I would recommend Decorative Artwork & Frames for anyone who is looking to invest in some good quality pieces - the price is a bit high for my liking, but I did actually purchase a frame there that looks awesome in my front hall (it's eye-catching because it's good quality and you can tell). I wouldn't buy all my pieces there, but they do have nice stuff... you can get beautiful artwork there too. The sales people are helpful, without being too 'in your face'. I would suggest taking a look if you're shopping around for artwork and/or frames.

Crate designs has some of the best wood furniture I have ever seen. My husband and I recently re-furnished our cottage living room with furniture from Crate, and we couldn't be happier. It has that 'cottagy' look, while still being very classy - and the quality is excellent (doesn't scratch or pick up water marks easily). The price was excellent for what we got, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I will be going back to Crate for my next re-decorating project.

Ambiance has beautiful light fixtures - I have found very unique things here (definite '1-of-a-kinds'!)! The price is quite good for good quality stuff. The only thing I would change about this place is that you kind of have to 'hunt-down' staff members when you need information and assistance. Once you've got their attention, though, the staff are usually quite helpful. I will go back!

Omar Rug Co has some very nice area rugs (tons of selection) - I just bought one. It looks really good in my home, and I am generally happy with it. The one thing I'm noticing with this rug is that the 'cushiness' is not standing up that well - it's getting crushed down quite easily. This wasn't the most expensive rug in the store, however, and a pricier one might stand up better. In general, I'm happy - the service and price were definitely good. I have recommended this place to a good friend with confidence.
