Having done work previously for me in 2016, I called Gregg at Mold. Ca in Oct. to inspect/provide a quote to treat mold contamination and water damage to the wood flooring and walls of my finished basement from a leaking hot water tank. Also, to rebuild and replace removed materials and restore the basement to a clean, comfortable and mold free living space. (My family was freaked out by the mold and wouldn't go into the basement!) I was very impressed and reassured, given the pandemic, of the care taken to seal the work environment, regular cleanup, the work ethic, consideration and workmanship of Gregg's team Dean, Yos and Mark. The costing of the project was fair, given the high quality of the materials & work done. Gregg went over and above to find the materials needed, given pandemic caused supply chain shortages. I highly recommend and would re-hire Mold.Ca, Gregg and his team for any renovation, water and mold remediation work. Shout out to Yos, who did an excellent job re-staining my stairs to match the flooring! Many thanks to you all.

My built in Panasonic Genius microwave/convection oven was giving trouble starting on a consistent basis. I was advised it was not worth fixing. To replace it I'd have to buy a new wall microwave which matched the other appliances and fit in the wall space. This could prove difficult and costly given my appliances are over 15+ yrs old. Based on excellent reviews on the HomeStars site, I contacted Care Appliance Service. Shay called back and arranged a same day visit. Although it took a couple of visits to fix my microwave, Shay was professional and worked diligently to identify the issue and fix the problem once and for all. Needless to say I'm thrilled. Recently, we had a significant leak in our 20yr flat roof. I researched various roofing companies, many wouldn't work on flat roofs and others didn't have timely follow-up. I was referred to Earl's family owned company, E.W. Smith Roofing by a friend who also had been referred to Earl's company and was very satisfied with their work. Earl is a professional roofer, a gentleman, responded immediately to any calls /concerns raised and was a pleasure to work with. His team were friendly, insured and trained; this is especially important, as flat roof replacement can result in fires due to the torquing of the rubber to the roof, if not done by knowledgeable roofers. The work included full replacement of flat roof and mansard wall/shingles, skylight, breather vents, and additional insulation to bring it up to R52 with a 5 year workmanship warranty. Good clean up and debris removal and no fires!!! I would highly recommend E.W.Smith Roofing to anyone looking for roof repair and/or replacement work. Thanks Earl!

In the course of having our 20 yr roof replaced, as we had significant leaking through to our walk-in closet and nearby walls. My contractor referred me to Gregg at mold.ca. His team did an amazing job of mold remediation in my walk-in closet and basement cellar, followed by rebuilding our walk-in closet, fully restoring my cellar and replacing damaged drywall in various areas due to previous leaks. Gregg was very knowledgeable, provided a detailed quote and daily updates, seamlessly coordinated his team's work with the roofers and provided excellent referrals for follow-up home services.
