An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
My wife and I got an upper fixer bungalow and had Stor-X's Sharon Cohen come to do ALL of our closets. It started out with our room sized walk-in closet next to the master bedroom. once we had the money we didn't even look for others and asked him to build our closets in all the other rooms including the basement which was only partially finished at first. Sharon was very punctual and professional (it sounds funny to mention it. However, when we shopped around we had several no-show meetings with other builders). He worked hard to come up with solutions to maximize small spaces while keeping costs low. He sent alternative design drafts, answered technical questions and when the job was done he cleaned the place better than our cleaners left it. He did so three times, which makes me believe it is a constant for him. Sharon was also very pleasant. Did not need a lot of attention, however - knew when to approach us when he had unanticipated issues while installing our closets. I would recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone who's looking for a good cabinet maker and am sure that once we get the funds we will call him again to do some work on our garage...
