These guys actually do have super powers! During my move last week, Christian and his coworker picked up my treadmill with ease and maneuvered it through 2 sets of stairs and a ridiculously tight corner. Amazingly, they did it with a smile and in good humour. The best part of using Christian for my move was the great communication. He was the first to respond to my quote requests, the first to figure out a moving date and time that worked. Then 3 days before moving day, he followed up to see if there any changes to my furniture list to ensure he brought the right sized truck and equipment. On the day of the move, he called 1/2 hour in advance to let me know he was on his way. Nice to have this communication when coordinating all the things that have to be done during a move. With the move done so smoothly, I hired him again for the carpet cleaning and received the same professionalism.

I guess I hid all my pain inside so well you could not hear the screaming every time I lifted the treadmill. Just kidding. Truthfully, the more you move certain things, the more you understand the physics and the geometry involved. Each item has a certain linear equation both responsive to vertical limits and horizontal limits, and then you can create a fulcrum between the two points with different weight values, and use pads to protect those areas that you need to rest down, lift up etc. All of this is designed to correspond to the corridor you need to maneuver. It really is quite simple. ;)
