This was the third time we've used Art (Arco) - this time was for our five year maintenance to replace any broken shingles, etc. We used them originally after a few years after we moved in to fix things up as the roof had received no attention since the house was built (mid-80s). The amount of work completed the first time was higher because of this, but Art assured me that in future visits at five year intervals, the amount of work and cost would be much lower - and it was! In addition to using Arco for the roof maintenance twice now, we had them do a large project to improve some dripping after having the eavestroughs replaced and they did an excellent job here as well. I would trust my roof to no one else now! Looking forward to dealing with Art again in five years time.

We used Stor-X for a large project in our master bedroom. We had a large closet on one side with mirrored, sliding doors. We wanted to have these replaced with a built-in closet solution. In addition, we wanted to have a matching closet built on the other side of the room. The project required the partial removal of a bulkhead to allow for full-size closets. We contacted five companies in total and Sharon (Stor-X) was the only one who would even offer to do the work – all others said we’d have to find another contractor before they could install their product. The final product is beautiful and exactly what we were hoping for. The closet on one side even has a custom crown piece with LED lighting that Sharon designed and installed himself. And after all of that work, Stor-X had the best value for our money when looking at the total of the work completed. We are already thinking about where else we can have Stor-X help us out in the house! I would definitely recommend Stor-X for this type of work.

This is the second time that we have used Art and his team for maintenance on our cedar shake roof. The first time was four years ago when we needed to have a number of shakes and ridge caps replaced. Art was far and away the most professional and trustworthy of the contractors who came that time and he took the time to explain his quote and the work that would be done. The work was excellent and the price was fair. This time, I asked Art to come by and help with some dripping that we were experiencing that had become worse since we got new eaves trough installed. Art discovered there was no drip edge, so the job was to install. Given the challenges of the job, it took his guys more time than originally thought, but Art offered a good discount on the labour price to get us a fair price on the work. The work has been high quality both times we've used ARCO and we are already planning to have them back next year for some regular shake maintenance. I would highly recommend Art for your roofing needs!

We had a number of companies quote us on priming and painting approximately 45' of interior stained oak railings. Jamie was one of the first to respond and had one of the most competitive offers for this project. Based on their quote, conversations with him and positive reviews on this site, we selected them for the job. They spent two partial days prepping the house (taping, masking, etc.) to ensure a minimum amount of mess outside the work area. The caulking and primer went on next quite quickly, followed by two coats (over two days) of Advance which went on great. Cleanup was done quickly and Jamie brought in a cleaner (!!!) to clean up not only the work-area, but the rest of the house as well! It made a big difference to have a beautifully painted railing as well as a nice clean house at the end of the project. We would definitely recommend Jamie and his team and will talk to them for future projects. Thanks!
