We requested a quote over the phone. Frank left the quote in our mailbox. We were attracted to the price and when he came back to answer some questions we had , (in person !)-first home, first roof...we had question- Once we had it all cleared up, he said it would be done in 1-2 weeks. 9 days later, it was done. They came. They removed the old. They Reshingled. They left. Like it never happened. Except there are new shingles on my house. No garbage left, no cig buts left, no nails. They used black flashing though...so, if you want brown or grey, specify on the quote. We are very happy with their work, and we are relieved to have the new roof done.

- Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
- Get a few quotes, but don't go with the cheapest. Ask around, look for the signs on the lawns, ask those homeowners. Read the homestar reviews. There was another roof company that had 10 stars on this site, but it looked like the reviews were all written by the same person with different user names. They all had the same lines, language, punctuation etc. Made me think twice.
