We've used Sky High twice now and have been exceedingly happy with their work. First time was for work in the back yard: Removal of a large Caragana, pruning away of a Mayday, and pruning of an overgrown Lilac. Second time was for the removal of a massive Spruce leaning over our house and removal of smaller shrubs in the front yard. Stump grinding was completed both times. Both times, I got to chat with Linda to book the consultation. There was no phone tag, no getting redirected, no lost messages - the process was clear and immediate, Linda was friendly and responsive. Her sons Wes and Micah were awesome and easy to work with. Quotes were competitive and they were honest about projects that weren't worth my money. They did their work with great care. They had large equipment to speed up the work, but also had the skill and patience to climb trees when needed. Our house and nearby flowers suffered no damage due to their diligence, but they were very upfront about possible, unavoidable damages. I would recommend these guys in a heartbeat. I don't think you will get better prices or quality of work elsewhere!

We were extremely pleased with Paul and Dan's work in our home! From our first meeting, I felt at ease with Paul's easy nature and honest answers. We got quotes from two similarly rated companies - Paul's was competitively priced, clearly itemized, and most comprehensive (including floors covers, drywall repairs, cleaning after). Paul was quite busy, but was able to book a quote with me within 4 days of my call. He spent about 75 minutes on the initial quote. I was pleased that he pointed out things other electricians hadn't or offered to patch up things I was already considering. The quote was emailed to us within 12 hours. We were booked 1 week out and he came in the day before to cardboard and protect our hardwood floors. Our house is from the 1920's, with knob and tube throughout the main floor (living, dining, den, bedroom, sunroom, hallway) and basement (3 rooms). It took them about 1.5 days to trace the mixed circuits and complete diagnostics. This was all rewired, with 17 outlets upgraded/added per code. Ultimately, the basement was not completed, because we decided to delay for major renos in the future. Two new ceiling lights were installed via the attic, and existing fixtures changed as we requested. The older panel was replaced and disposed of, and double taps were fixed in the subpanel. They even straightened and harmonized all the outlets in the house for us. City of Calgary electrical permits were taken care of. All of this was done within 5 days. Drywall repairs were completed by his colleague Manie, who was a consummate professional. Despite the fickle lath and plaster in older parts of the house, he was able to repair gaps in the ceiling/walls seamlessly. He even closed up old holes left by the previous owners! Because the old outlets were in the baseboards, those had to be mudded as well. This took about 5 days to complete, but we were really impressed with his work. It was such a pleasure working with Panel Upgrade Experts. We had a fairly extensive project and little experience, but felt confident as they were meticulous, friendly, and excellent at what they do. I strongly recommend this team for any job, big or small!
