I just used Citrus-O carpeting cleaning Vancouver for a 2 bedroom and single stairway carpet clean. I was called at the time they said prior to appointment and given a 1 hour time frame. They called me 15 minutes before the arrival of the staff member as requested as I had to make my one to the home due to it being vacant. The staff member was friendly, polite, did a great job, speedy.

We recently renovated our upstairs bedroom's on-suite bathroom and living room fireplace. Sandro did a fantastic job, cost effective , time efficient, stress free and construction area was left clean each day. What a difference to previous contractors I have used. We were glad we waited for him to complete this task. The bathroom was a full retrofit new glass door shower, tiled floors inside shower and out, new vanity, painting and instead of a pocket door a modern glass sliding door. Looks fantastic. Sandro's project #2 was to cover our old stone fireplace recreating the spot into a modern but classic look that will never age the home and compliments the space. We replaced the inserts ourselves. Great job Sandro and I would highly recommend his services big or small. Please view our before and after pictures

As a home owner who has been bitten badly one too many times by contractors nothing brings more joy than to share in this past experience. Delfabulous has been the BEST contractor thus far that I have used since starting our home renovations in 2010 - and I have burned my fingers trust me. Our project: paint door trim, replace existing interior doors and new doors for closets (originally bifold doors yugh!!). Sandro not only saved us money but also time in getting this project complete. He used already made interior doors and just sized them to fit the spots required and then was very innovative in that he created french doors for our closets which look absolutely fabulous from ready made bifold doors. (I did get other quotes and none of the other contractors paid such close attention to what could be done plus the $$$$$ where high) He has a great work ethic, neat and tidy when working in your home, polite, communicates (this is key to any relationship), does a great job and always ensures you are 100% happy at all times. 10 out of 10 is what I give this contractor and I would definately use Delfabulous again.

Through our current contractor Vancouver Renovations Group who is completing a number of home renovations one of them being a lovely new exterior finish we met Travis owner of Transformations Painting. What a great company, Travis is friendly, listens to his customers needs and concerns, pays attention to detail, has a hard working team and will even come on a Sunday to finish the task at hand. He was onsite by 9am and some nights left at 8pm now that is what I call good hard working work ethic. I would recommend this team of professionals hands down. Paula North Vancouver, BC

Our first home renovation so we were very new to this industry of renovations. We decided to hire HMJ Constructing Services for a project spring/summer 2010 - both my husband and I felt confident that John and his team were the right people to take on our project, he seemed to understand and see the vision I had planned for our kitchen, bathroom and downstairs room reno. John the owner is in no way a bad guy, friendly but hates being told what to do or answering questions and a poor communicator. He does have good vision and ideas. They had 7 weeks and an empty house and he seemed quite confident due to the circumstances they would be done. The kitchen and 2 bathrooms were demolished to the bare bones and built up from there, we also included refinishing our floors. Project started in May by middle/3rd week of July and a whole lot of stress later our project was completed, completed because we put the pressure on to get the job done. At times I felt like I had incompetinent workers onsite and sometimes only one person working when there were 3 rooms to complete. It also seemed that certain aspects were ignored because HMJ had other projects elsewhere on the go and so needed the team elsewhere - unacceptable but seems the norm for this industry. Ikea will be shocked to know it took one month to get our kitchen installed and perhaps that is because HMJ's kitchen installer took a smoke break every 15 minutes on the hour started at 10 and finished at 3.45pm. Our kitchen and layout is superb though our vision worked out perfectly. Yes there were some challenges during this job but all we asked was for the construction company to be honest and realistic with time lines we understood this was a process and we wanted the job to be done correctly and perfectly. Communication from the construction companies side lacked and this led to most of our frustrations because we kept on expecting one thing and always ended up another. Am I happy with the completed project YES it all looks great and worked out the way we wanted it. Would I recommend this company yes IF you are happy to let the contractor have free reign with timelines, dont mind working with someone who does not respect you as an owner/paying client (women) when you want things corrected or a certain way, contractor is a poor communicator, does not thank you for your business and expects payment up front day of completion without an inspection etc then this company I guess is for you. BUT after the stress, zero understanding about the importance of communicating with your client and frustration of working with HMJ I will in no way refer or recommend anyone to them for future business. I have learnt a big lesson with our first renovation and also have to say thanks to Home Stars as I now know what to ask, look for and expect next time we embark on another home project.

We have recently hired Landyman Landscaping to remove about 35, 8ft cedar trees and install in their place a cedar fence, arbor and gate. Brian was fantastic to work with, they are a reliable and very professional team and anyone that is looking to put up a cedar fence I would recommend this company hands down. We will still be using Landyman to finish off our garden project. Although they also provide landscaping service which I have not personally experienced - Brian provides references and I find to be open and honest and truly amazing to work with.
