Recently I noticed some water damage in the first floor ceiling, right under my ensuite bathroom on the second floor. The grout in the shower stall had been falling out, and I thought that it could simply be re-grouted and all would be well. Not the case. So I called Lampert. I had worked with them on two previous bathroom projects, and had always found them to be reliable and professional. Lawrence Lampert came out and had a look. He said that the leakage was likely from my shower wall, and that the only recourse was to replace the whole thing. I was a bit daunted by the quote of $6200 but agreed. The installers arrived promptly, and gutted the shower; in the process discovered the shower pan was very full of water and would have created much more damage in the long run. They rebuilt the shower from the drywall on out, installing a beautifully matched acrylic wall, with marble finishes, an elegant glass door and carefully finished exterior to match the existing wall. When I saw the extent of the work and the finished product, it was worth every penny. I highly recommend Lampert, and would not hesitate to call them again.
