As a first time home buyer, we were completely clueless on what to look for during a home inspection. We called Brent based on the reviews on this site, and he was wonderful to speak to on the phone. Our sellers were giving us a difficult time, so we had to re-schedule with Brent at the last minute, but Brent was more than accommodating and worked with our schedule. The home inspection was very thorough and in-depth. Brent took us all over the house and not just showed us what needed work, but also how to maintain the house well and what to look out for in the future. Our brother-in-law is currently building his own house by himself, and tagged along with Brent for the entire inspection. I wasn't sure how that would work out, but Brent was ever patient and ever keen in sharing his knowledge with my brother-in-law. I highly recommend Brent for your next home inspection.

I am always under the assumption that there is something to hide or they came across something and are trying to fix it before I get there. No, not always, but it always seems that is the reason. As far as "tagging along", nope, I love when people do. I always have people ask me, “do mind if I come to the inspection" ...my response, "of course!" I much prefer it when the homebuyer is present. Secondly, I like it when people "tag along", this when people totally understand the home, nothing gets overlooked, and people tend to ask more questions as they are seeing exactly what the issue is.
