I received a call in the morning from Hi-Speed movers after making an online inquiry the night before. The customer service was very smooth and went through all the specifics, giving me a quote with tax included. They were able to provide service that same evening. I was told it would be between 6pm and 10pm, and that I would be called 30 minutes before arrival. Just before 9pm, the movers called and told me there were already at the address -- no advance warning -- but fortunately there was someone nearby to let them in. When I arrived, they already had brought down the side-by-side fridge (taking off the doors for no extra charge). They delivered the fridge and stove to my place. I showed them what needed to be moved (old fridge down to the basement, another fridge to be scrapped). Initially, he seemed surprised and told me that this was not part of his order. He then showed me the scanned order on his phone which showed verbatim the agreement I had with customer service -- and he went ahead with the rest of the move. Although he and his buddy were clearly working very hard and initially not thrilled at having to do more moving, they maintained a professional attitude and were very careful. They did what was necessary to fit the large fridge through the door frame, and set it back up putting the doors back on. They were unable to fit my old fridge down the stairs to the basement, so I decided to scrap it -- they took it away on their truck, no charge. They also took away my old stove, no charge. I don't envy the grueling labour these guys do, and I was extremely impressed by how professional and polite they were. Despite one challenge after the next and working in hot and humid weather, they got the job done, and well done. I will definitely call this company for my next move, without hesitation.
