We found out that some type of animal (suspected to be raccoon) had been tearing at the shingles around a roof vent. Emailed Peter (who had replaced our shingles back in 2015) about taking a look at it. He came the next day and repaired the shingles plus putting on a metal screen to deter future damage. At our request he also climbed up to the top of the roof to inspect (we have had frequent windstorms in the city lately) for any other damage. I'd be more than happy to recommend City Roofing: - 4 years ago, they were quick to provide a quote and quick to do the installation (one day remove and install for a 2 story detached house). - This year, quick response to come and repair my animal damage this year.

I had shutters done in August, 2015. It has been thru 2 winters and still good. It is an 1800 sq ft two story house. All windows except bathroom and patio door. Originally we wanted vinyl. PC Shutters pushed the wooden shutters. We went with wooden. They were the same price as vinyl in 2015 (pricing for vinyl changes with crude oil prices). If doing it over we would go vinyl - found out afterwards that wood shutters require slightly more maintenance than vinyl. They are not rock bottom cheapest, more middle. Comes with great reviews from various local Toronto forums. Here is my experience: - answered the phone or returned the call quickly - came on time for quote appointment - came on time for installation appointment - proper one-day installation - in a previous house another vendor had to come back multiple times - had an issue with one shutter in the winter, they answered the phone and sent someone right away to correct the issue - I would recommend them and would use them again

City Roofing was referred by an old friend. Quote was reasonable at approx $6500 for a 2 story 1800 sq ft home. I liked that they do the entire job in 1 day. Good clean-up with magnet sweep of the yard. Couple months later, had an issue with loud vibration noise in high winds. Peter came next day and put a bunch of screws into the fascia and aluminum cladding. I would recommend again. They use BP Mystique 42 which is a pretty good shingle with a long warranty.
