After several attempts of speaking and making several appointments with different contractors that were referred to us, my husband and I were regrettably ready to give it up and continue living with our old worn out asphalt driveway. They seemed sketchy, unreliable, and unrealistic in term of price and knowledge. Luckily, my husband went on Home Stars and found Patterned Concrete (The Originals). After reading the reviews we decided that this was the company for us. As soon as we contacted the Company I spoke to Connie and was very impressed with her expertise. Soon after we arranged for an appointment and we met with Joe Guida (President) of the company in order to proceed and discuss the work that was to be done. He explained that they place 6” concrete on top of 6” compacted crushed stone, which would be reinforced with 10M rebar in order to survive our Canadian Winters. His ideas and suggestions were phenomenal. When his crew showed up to proceed with the project, we were astonished. The crew were not only hard workers but also passionate about bringing the work to perfection. As a result we had many drivers and pass-buyers stopping and inquiring about the company, service and work that they would see in progress as well as when the job was completed. Patterned Concrete designed and installed the driveway in front of the house leading to a walkway on the side leading to the backyard. The porch and steps were also meticulously refaced with patterned concrete. We are beyond pleased with the workmanship and the beautiful job that they did. The final results were better than what we had expected. We are very proud to have their logo which is imprinted on our driveway clearly displayed for all to see!
